RUNWAY: Maison Martin Margiela FW11

Fall/Winter 2011 was Maison Martin Margiela's first menswear runway, in previous seasons, the house, no longer designed by the man whose name is on the label, opted for presentations. It truly would not be a Margiela show if the clothes weren't exciting and fresh, if not slightly out there. But it surprisingly turn out fantastic pieces that kept Margiela's vision alive but still making it wearable and commercial. A real coup for the house who has had a cult following.
