RUNWAY Dior Homme FW11
Dior Homme turned the
Paris Tennis Club into a makeshift Parisian Ballroom, complete with seven (!) chandeliers and two fireplaces with the rest of the room bare. The barren decor matched the collection, which was pared down and stark with trousers voluminous and fluid and outerwear lined with grey cashmere. The black and grey that were used in almost every outfit was a large contrast to the plum reds that were seen towards the end, like a red suit with matching cashmere turtleneck, worn by
Ethan James, who closed the show. It was simple luxury with a slightly Amish feel.
