RUNWAY: Julien David FW16

Whether or not capes will become an actual piece of outerwear that high fashion designers can convince the average man to wear is a question but Julien David offered a convincing take on it. In his FW16 collection, utility was a strong focus with an emphasis on blue collar uniforms. The clothes, slightly distressed with unfinished seams, looked worn and comfortable while metallic colors on an oversized jacket gave the collection a futuristic feel, the same can be said for the Edward Scissorhands-like coifs.
