Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2014 Schedule

With Milan no longer the start of the European mens shows, the Italian fashion capital has upped the ante by urging members to draw more on their Italian heritage, an effort spearheaded by Giorgio Armani. Though some may argue that these shows may need more than an extra dose of Italian heritage, they need a fresh perspective.

RUNWAY: Victor Dzenk FW14

Victor Dzenk's gilded runway was an indication that his FW14 collection would be one that screamed "look at me". That's exactly what he offered, with bare chested models strutting down the runway in easy knits and relaxed pants, the collection had a raw and simple sexual energy.

RUNWAY: TNG FW14

For Fall/Winter 2014, Brazilian label TNG proffered an expansive collection surrounded on the idea of menswear classics. Smart suits were a delight to see on the usually-casual runways in Brazil. The demure color palette felt fresh and not forced while a bit of plaid added an extra oomph.

RUNWAY: R. Groove FW14

R. Groove's Fall/Winter 2014 collection offered an artsy take on hard-edged fashion for the upcoming season. Printed faces on a sleeveless shirt and abstract prints on a kimono were just some of the highlights of the collection that showed plenty to choose from when the clothes hit the stores next year.
