RUNWAY: Gucci SS14

There's no such thing as maternity leave for Gucci's Frida Giannini. Giannini gave birth to her daughter in March and she's back on the runway, glowing and beautiful, as she presented the SS14 collection for the famed Florentine company. Birth is often signals a new start and re-evaluation and Giannini's usual darkly romantic collections might be a thing of the past, at least it is for Spring. She proffered a melange of floral prints to accentuate her sleek and slim designs. Suiting was also a lighter in color while rich hues of blue while the outerwear that was shown were all incredibly well designed with great sporty finishes and drape.
