RUNWAY: Versace FW13
Leave it to
Donatella Versace to find any and every reason to show some skin. There was plenty of it on
Versace's Fall/Winter 2013 collection. The eye-candy filled show was broken up into three parts, the first was an ode to
Gianni, with his bold prints and exuberant flamboyance on full blast. The second part was a mesh of Donatella and her late brother, a series of well toned models donned lace-y outfits with strategically placed fabric and wore little else, maybe a tailored jacket. The last part all about the height of Versace's fame: the 80s and 90s: wide knotted ties, a plethora of denim, a bit of graffiti, and power suits. The collection as a whole was widely exciting and fun, with just enough
fashion to go along with the entertainment factor.
