Astrid Andersen's army of (mostly) long haired models invaded the runway at her FW14 show wearing hard-edged fashion in yet another ode to 90s fashion, with shiny fabrics reflecting the light from the hot lights and silvery runway and creating an almost ethereal glow around the clothes. Andersen's penchant for elongated proportions and urban sportswear sets her apart in London where the norm is high-end suiting and trenchcoats. It's refreshing to see something that isn't typically English at the London shows.

Lou Dalton once again kicks off London's three day fashion expo with her FW14 collection that offered a more relaxed silhouette, in line with the blue collar worker aesthetic. Though the clothes may have been inspired by the uniforms of men working in a line at a factory, the clothes themselves were far from ordinary, with luxe fabrications and interesting treatments like suede and a bleached pink outfit, it was a good start to London Collections Men.

The three-week juggernaut that is the men's fashion week circuit concludes once again in Paris, with a handful of new and exciting labels while the biggest names in fashion and luxury look to impress. Womenswear darling Haider Ackermann returns to the Paris men's schedule for the second straight time while Dior's couturier, Raf Simons, has co-branded his eponymous line with artist Sterling Ruby to create a highly anticipated collection that is equal parts Simons and Ruby. Hedi Slimane once again closes out the festivities with a Saint Laurent collection that's sure to be as polarizing as previous ones.
