Utility runs deep within rag & bone's DNA and that continues into its FW19 collection with an emphasis on the utility and functionality of blue collar uniforms. These clothes are intended to have purpose in one's life - to ease the struggles of its wearer, whether it be shielding it from the cold like warm flannel layers to offering more pockets to keep one's gadgets. While not groundbreaking, it will sell, which is helps keep the label afloat.

Since going solo, Marcus Wainwright has eschewed a runway show for Rag & Bone and continues to do so for the label he helped found, alongside David Neville, who has since left. For FW17, the clothes were worn by attendees to a party, from famous faces like Alexander Petrovsky to models such as Yuri Pleskun. For the press, Wainwright offered polaroids of the clothes, challenging the viewer to go out and find these clothes, look at them in person, touch them, and try them on. It's an interesting position and one which may pay dividends. As for the clothes themselves, they stayed in-line with the label's established aesthetic: denim, cool knits and a downtown-cool vibe.

Workwear, courtesy of blue collar workers, was the jump off point at rag & bone's latest collection, full of orange-hued designs reminiscent of that worn by construction workers while flight jackets and fur trimmed coats rounded out the outerwear. The dark color palette gave a timeless feel to the sportswear while branded knits looked something out of the 90s and should likely stay in that decade.

Famed dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov stars in Rag & Bone's lively Fall/Winter 2015 lookbook, with fellow dancer Lil Buck. The Fall/Winter 2015 collection's active lookbook mirrors the clothes sporty influences, with layers upon layers of knits, coats, jackets and pants. Chicest among the offerings include a texture overcoat, wide and fluid, perfect to move around in rather constricted in its military rigidness.

rag&bone's Marcus Wainwright and David Neville are bouncing between London and New York to showcase their men's collection. From last seaosn's military-influenced SS14 collection in London to a more somber FW14 collection in New York, the duo sure are racking up plenty of travel miles. For FW14, there was an easy and softness to the outerwear and while a more relaxed silhouette fell in line with the emerging trends we saw in the European shows. Pajama-like shirts in silky fabrics made an appearance while the label's always chic outerwear offered plenty to covet.

British designers David Neville and Marcus Wainwright return to London to showcase rag&bone's SS14 collection. The duo decamped their men's collection from New York to London and showed a collection that suggested a bit of self reflection. The mirror-clad set was complemented by bucket hats, new camouflage prints and a more relaxed silhouette.

The standalone collection offered a relaxed take on label's military-heavy aesthetic. The latest collection felt more sophisticated with a strong emphasis on tailored pieces, a smart move considering the strong growth in menswear and the growing focus on modern tailoring. The brand, known for their determination to produce the majority of their products in the United States, also showed plenty of sportswear, like camo anoraks and texturally-rich fabrics.
