Yigal Azrouel opted for an intimate presentation to showcase his Fall/Winter 2012 collection which was full of on-trend pieces such as a color blocked hoodie and chic details like leather accents on a blazer and a hidden zipper compartment on a bisque leather jacket. Also present for FW12 are Azrouel's signature scarfs, with a new fabrication in crushed cashmere that was as luxe as it was comfortable. Our favorite piece, however, was a hybrid varsity and leather jacket worn by Lyle Lodwick.

Yigal Azrouel showcased his Spring/Summer 2012 collection today by sending models down the runway in sporty pieces that echoed the trend of the Spring 2012: color-blocking; other outfits were detailed in subtle textures paired with geometric prints and knits and the result was modern and wearable. Add onto the fact that the fit was a bit more relaxed, it would surely please consumers in six months.

Yigal Azrouel is yet another New York designer who moved his eponymous line to the rues of Paris, joining Phillip Lim and Thom Browne who have recently joined the Paris Fashion Week schedule. Azrouel is known for his body conscious designs and bluechip pieces that aren't trendy but become staples in any man's closet and moving to Paris hasn't changed that as many of the pieces can become perennial favorites for their owners.
