It was bittersweet when Viktor & Rolf announced that they would not be showing a full-fledged men's fashion show for SS14. They opted against it since the duo are dipping their toes back into haute couture, where they first started. So for the upcoming season, the forward-thinking designers tapped Thomas Burkovatz to don their collegiate inspired college of asymmetrical jackets, graphic knits and boxy trousers. Viktor & Rolf's calming color scheme was in line with the rest of the fashion luminaries and as they mixed the blues with the collegiate theme, what resulted was nothing short of an excellent interpretation of the allure and nonchalance of youth.
