Auslander's Spring/Summer 2012 caused quite a stir during Fashion Rio and we're not even talking about the clothes. The cast included two of the most talked about models of the moment: Andrej Pejic and Rick "Zombie Boy" Zenest! The two larger than life models walked exclusively for Auslander's religious-esque themed show, creating a collection surrounded on the idea of the progression from good to evil. The collection started out in stark whites then edging ever darker to a grey (amoral) area then to blood-red and eventually to black. Though the theme was quite literal and intentional, I would guess the audience found it slightly difficult to concentrate on the clothes when the shock and awe of seeing Andrej and Rico on the runway took hold. However, the clothes were quite interesting with its mix of sinister and pure.
