Rake's country-bumpkin inspired tailoring was unexpected and fun, a departure from the stuffy suit-and-tie collections so often seen in London and Milan. Warm wools and tweeds are a pleasure to see while the tailoring was up to par with today's more relaxed but still slender look. Their mix of patterns was also commendable to the style team.

RUNWAY: Rake FW14

A classic 1950s silhouette was favored for Rake's Spring/Summer 2014 offerings and the result was a pristine and edited series of looks full of nostalgia. Beautifully patterned clothing was dressed up or down via a series of jackets that ranged from a more formal double breasted blazer to a lightning blue bomber jacket was our favorite item from the presentation.

A relaxed fit lent to Rake's fluid Fall/Winter 2013 collection that offered much in the way of luxe fabrications and seemed to be made for those of "old money" dressing in a more modern way.
