Disco is alive and well at Michael Kors's Fall/Winter 2019 collection, complete with glittering tees that were licensed to carry the iconic Studio 54 name. The resulting collection was so very 70s with bellbottoms, hippy-friendly layers and plenty of ethical fashion like the fur-free furs. None of it was particularly ingenious but it was still fun and fashion should be fun sometimes.

Michael Kors has always been known for his jetset-inspired collection and this SS19 collection is no different. His man travels to the tropics for SS19 in floral-patterned short shorts, loungey knits and bucket hats. The shifting tastes within the upper echelon of fashion has yielded an "ugly is beautiful" trend that Kors has proven he is not immune to following.

Michael Kors' latest collection for his runway line proffered a relaxed collegiate vibe while throwing in some eclectic patterns, patchwork and fake fur (Kors has recently announced he'll no longer use real fur in his collections).

A relaxed island vibe pervaded throughout Michael Kors' SS18 collection, with palm frond patterns and colors seen in nature - from sunsets to azure waters.

Michael Kors' latest collection offered military tailoring layered atop coming knits and looser fitting clothes. Though, this is still Michael Kors, the purveyor of the jetset life, so loose is a relative term but the comfort-factor with this selection of menswear is considerably more than previous collections which were more austere and rigid.

Michael Kors continues to eschew a runway show for his men's label, opting instead of a presentation where he speaks about the clothes on display. For SS17, a litany of bags accompanied nearly every model, though unspoken, the men's accessories market is clearly a target for the billionaire designer. As for the clothes, the silhouettes were noticeably looser from the austere and slim looks Kors has preferred in the past. Be that as it may, the looser cuts melded well with Kors' simple color palette to create a very refreshing palette cleanser with good clothes without the weighty narrative that many new designers often bogged down by.

About a handful of men's looks from Michael Kors' Spring/Summer 2016 collection, shown in July, appeared alongside his womenswear collection during NYFW.

In an intimate presentation on the second full day of NYFW:M, Michael Kors proffered a very laid back and lounge-y collection for the jetset. These high powered individuals haven't settled down yet but have taken much needed time to unwind and relax. However, that doesn't mean style goes out the window. Here, Kors posited a chic way to dress down, from pajama-style pants to an ultra chic utilitarian jacket.

Luxury for the high-flying, jetset-crowd means taking things to extremes: from extreme luxury via exotic fabrics to polar opposites like sublimely cut suits and hyper-casual daywear. That's what Michael Kors offered to its his long list of devotees for his eponymous label's FW15 men's collection. Lush tweeds added texture while mixed media puffers, in tweed and nylon-camo with fur trim, looked chic and casual. As for tailoring, this may have been Kors' dressiest men's collection to date, with an eight-button double breasted jacket paired with tapered trousers.

In a surprise cast change, Swedish model Benjamin Eidem is the new face of Michael Kors' Fall/Winter 2014 campaign; the change comes after Simon Nessman's multi-season contract. The rest of the cast, however, remains the same, with Mario Testino behind the lens and Corey Baptiste returns to join in the revelry of the jetset life.

It's off to Alamfi for Michael Kors' jet-setting men. For the SS15 season, Kors relaxed his sleek tailoring in favor of softer looks, with cropped pants, subtly printed shorts and a plethora of cool tops like a nautical inspired hoodie or a chic full size anorak. For evening, there was a gun metal grey suit on Benjamin Eidem but the bulk of the collection focused on sportswear, which is Kors' forte. after all. There were also a handful of accessories from medium sized duffles, some with weaved top handles, as well a lightweight crossbody bag; footwear was comfortable, from  sandals with jute soles to classic loafers.
