The days of analog are long gone but there is still nostalgia over the early days of computing and that was the starting point of Maison Kitsune's FW18 collection. The retro vibe ran rampant throughout the collection and was seen on slouchy, faded layers.

Maison Kitsune's latest presentation offered up a dream-like reel of a chic man's vacation. There were some great and simple pieces here with just enough kitsch and humor to fit the house's code. Take the 80s inspired varsity jacket, which looked chic and current but still slightly out of the wrong decade, while a water resistant coat looked sublime. As for the plethora of branded knits, patterned shorts and bags? Well, that's sure to set registers ringing.

A desert was the starting point for Maison Kitsune's Spring/Summer 2016 collection and what would one wear to the desert? Safari jackets, sandals, and plenty of lightweight layers. The surrealist lookbook that Maison Kitsune coincided with their hip and quirky vibes while the relaxed silhouettes and emphasis on sportswear provide plenty for retailers and buyers to order.

The patterns at Maison Kitsune's Fall/Winter 2015 collection were plentiful and fun, from a colorful houndstooth to boxy color blocking, reinforcing the label's kitschy style. As for outerwear, plaid-lined trenches and cropped toggle coats were excellently made and sure to send many a-hipster running towards the nearest Kitsune store.
