The United States and Cuba have started to de-frost their relations and Karl Lagerfeld took the opportunity to shine a light on Chanel's connection with the Caribbean country. On a tree lined promenade in Havana, Lagerfeld created a lively and colorful Cruise collection, juxtaposing modern touches with the country's indelible ties to the 1950s, including the classic cars that many of the citizens still drive. The men's collections, including sharp hats, were from by Baptiste Giabiconi, Jake Davies, Sebastien Jondeau and Hudson and Brad Kroenig.

Another season means that Chanel and, by extension, Karl Lagerfeld whisked the couture label's best clients and the world's most important journalists to a new city, transforming it into something that Coco would've been proud of. For its latest Metiers d'Art show in Rome, Lagerfeld paid tribute to Italian cinema, resulting in kitschy details like bow-tie pasta accents to unisex boucle suits, complete with tweed hightops. Also seen were carol singers and an all-male finale including Brad Kroenig and his two sons, Sebastian Joundeau and Baptiste Giabiconi.

It was a real hoedown last night in Dallas as the fashion cognoscente diverged to see what Karl Lagerfeld had in store for them as he reinterpreted Coco Chanel's vision and melded it with the local culture in Texas. The result was a plethora of Navajo-inspired prints, denims, tweeds and plenty of furs and skins. All the usual suspects were seen on the runway like Sebastien Joundeau, Brad Kroenig and his son Hudson Kroenig, Jake Davies and Marlon Teixeira. Added to the brood this season was British model Edward Wilding, of Versace fame, all of whom wore the creations of the couture house's director.

RUNWAY: Chanel Pre-Fall 2014

After several seasons off the runway and in the front row, Chanel's famous creative director Karl Lagerfeld tapped his muse Baptiste Giabiconi to walk during the French house's Fall/Winter 2013 runway show today in Paris. Baptiste's two looks included slim fit leather pants, the type one might see Lagerfeld wear, while on top was either a unisex version of Chanel's famous tweed jumpers or an oversized coat, with both looks proffering patent leather Chelsea boots with chain detail, think Chanel's classic chain/leather handbag handle.

Chanel's couturier, Karl Lagerfeld, also designs under his own name and for Fall/Winter 2012, the German born designer taps Janis Ancens to model his design for his Karl line, which mirrors Lagerfeld's own style aesthetic more than the other lines he designs for under his name.

Karl Lagerfeld staged an opulent showing for Chanel's Pre-Fall 2012 collection today in Paris. Karl showed six menswear looks on three models. One is a familiar face on Chanel's runway and two are new additions to the famed couturier's runway: Prada SS12 exclusive Benjamin Eidem and Versace SS11 campaign model Malthe Madsen.

Karl's offerings for the Bombay-themed show included strong shouldered jackets and and tapered trousers, all with military influences. The most interesting part of the mens outfits, however, were the broach-pinned turbans Baptsite, Benjamin and Malthe donned.

Karl Lagerfeld takes the helm once again for Dior Homme's Fall/Winter 2011 campaign and challenges his muse, Baptiste Giabiconi, to model the luxurious and demure clothes that designer Kris Van Assche has created for the house.

For Chanel's Cruise 2012 collection, Karl Lagerfeld visited a familiar place for its location: the French Riviera. For Chanel's last Cruise collection, Karl whisked editors, buyers and models to St-Tropez; this year, he converged the fashion world in the seaside town of Cap d'Antibes. The select menswear pieces, modeled by Baptiste Giabiconi, Jake Davies, Oriol Elcacho, Mark Vanderloo, Sebastien Jondeau and Brad Kroenig, resembled glorified hotel staff uniform, with one lone exception: Baptiste's second look, where he dons a turban, pinned together by a bejeweled piece from Chanel's Haute Joaillerie collection.
