Jeremy Scott's collections usually offer a myriad of vibrant colors but not so for his FW19 collection, which was mostly in black and white. While his collections are often, cosmetically, fun and irrelevant, Scott does have a point of view and a message in almost all his collection but his FW19 was anything but subtle. He took on fake news and disinformation with newspaper-like prints on nearly every piece of clothing. The result was mixed.

Jeremy Scott is anything but a wallflower and his collections have taken on more political skew since a certain former reality TV personality occupied the Oval Office. This SS19 collection echoed a keyword that's been used a lot since then: RESIST. The color palette, in oranges and greens, evoked a lightheartedness, but don't be mistaken, Scott is serious when it comes to two things: fashion and his political views.

Jeremy Scott's effervescent Fall/Winter 2018 collection melded multiple childhood cartoons into a melange of nostalgia and cotton-candy colors. There were references to Care Bears, The Flintstones and The Jetsons, seen in the Care Bears printed knits to interest interpretations of animal print and moon boots. Scott's light-hearted collection brought much needed energy and joie-de-vivre to New York Fashion Week.

Jeremy Scott's eponymous label took on glamour with a finale of leather-clad models with chunky jewels, a cheeky take on millennial red carpet dressing. Prior to that top-model final, including Trevor Signorino, there were pop art prints and patterns, as well as plasticized and crystalized garments.

After Jeremy Scott's politically charged FW17 collection for Moschino last month during Milan Fashion Week, Scott showed his eponymous collection during New York Fashion Week. The result had strong American influences like the American Southwest but with sober overtones, one rooted in religion and protests.

The 80s are alive and popping on Jeremy Scott's runway. The Spring/Summer 2017 collection from the pop-culture aficionado saw neon hues on a bomber jacket and bold patterns with hints of pin-up girl culture from the 40s, as seen on a shirt worn by Trevor Signorino.

Rock n' Roll and pop art combined for Jeremy Scott's bubblegum colored FW16 collection, full of splashy prints and youthful creations, including a play on the Perfect. Here it was furry with pattern while guitar patterned pants and a bedazzled outfit on a model without a shirt epitomized the kitschy rockstar aesthetic.

Jeremy Scott is famous in a way that other designers are not. Though not (yet) a household name, pop culture watchers and business people know him, from his friendship with pop's biggest stars like Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry, to the magic he worked at Moschino, reviving its dusty halls with relevance. For SS16, the 60s came back to life with a showing that felt very much like the LA-based designer but noticeably pared back and almost methodically predictable: think hold prints and pop-art graphics. Could it be that the cerebral designs that put him on top be fading or is the new workload taking a toll?

A dizzying amount of colors, patterns and teddybear motifs littered Jeremy Scott's effervescent Fall/Winter 2015. The bright colors, the lighthearted nature of the clothes, and the naivete all melded together to resemble an acid-laced retrospective into once's childhood.

LA-based designer Jeremy Scott brought an effusive and lighthearted collection that brought out his inner flowerchild. Psychedelic colors and patterns littered the runway that also showcased Miley Cyrus' debut as a jewelry designer.

Los Angeles-based designer Jeremy Scott's references tend to be muddled and eccentric but not for his Fall/Winter 2014 collection. There's no denying the influence of American football on the collection, from fuzzy jersey's to very tamed knits in ivory with stripe accents on pants, sleeves and shoulders. Adding a bit of eccentricity to the collection, there was a suit in gold in a metal pattern, as well as a fun and graphic knit paired with diagonal striped pants in bold colors.
