James Long put the evolution of his brand, menswear and of humanity on the forefront at his FW16 show. Artistic touches melded with the futuristic make up to create a feast for the eyes, from a new take on camouflage, complete with fur trim, to a super cool technical bomber.

James Long's Spring/Summer 2016 collection was awash with the idea of individuality and self expression, almost to the point of DIY; thankfully there was no sign of a Bedazzler. Patchwork is one of Long's hallmarks and they were plenty of instances of that here, as well ruffled tuxedo shirts paired with a haphazardly made tie, paisley printed joggers, and tie dye denim.

James Long's artful FW15 collection was full of ornamental accents, from filigree on pants and jackets to his signature patchwork denim and plenty of hanging straps, bringing in a bondage feel. There were also paintings of faces seen on knits, shirts and pants, as well as chic wool outerwear with leather details or shearling.

James Long looked to boxing as the starting point of his Spring/Summer 2015 collection. Denim and stripes were key elements while elasticized waistbands referenced the shorts boxers use while in the ring. The highlights of the collection came in the form of the outerwear, from cool looking hoodies to Long's interpretation of the classic bomber jacket.
