2) Former Prada campaign headliner gets arrested


In February 2010, The Smoking Gun broke the story that Nick Snider was arrested in Alabama for public drunkenness. That in itself is not so salacious. What really makes this story the #2 most interesting story of 2010 (in our opinion, of course) is that Nick tries to convince the officer arresting him to let him go because, as he is supposedly quoted as saying, "I am a very famous model".

When this doesn't work, the openly gay model then tries to coax the officer to let him go in exchange for fellatio. This also does not work and Nick is then arrested and his mugshot was soon the top story on many gossip and fashion sites. His mother agency, VNY, headed by the fabulous Lana Winters, later issued a statement in support of Nick.

A few months later, Nick took his Facebook to address the situation, denying much of what the police report states. He denies ever saying "I am a very famous model" and also vehemently denies that he offered anyone any sexual favors in exchange for not being arrested. Whether you choose to believe the police report's account of that night or Nick's is up to you, but generally, we tend to believe what the authorities say, but that's just us.

Since then, Nick has said that he walked his last runway ever, for Daniele Alessandri's Spring/Summer 2011 show.

The Argentina government recently passed gay marriage and an unconfirmed rumor is that Nicolas Ripoll & Juan Manuel Arancibia got married soon after the law went into effect. There have been rumors about them dating for a few months and though their courtship isn't as long as Luis Borges' and Eduardo Beaute's, I was quite skeptical when I heard that they got married.

Like I said, this is all conjecture until confirmed, though I suspect a call to their agencies will not yield a response. However if they didn't get married, I wish the two the best! And if they did get married, a huge congratulations to both!

No longer a rumor because Luis Borges and Eduardo Beauté are now married! Congrats to the happy couple!

Their nuptials marked the first same-sex celebrity marriage in Portugal since the small Mediterranean country legalized same sex marriage. They were married May 20th and took their honeymoon in Turkey.

Calm down, boys and girls. There is no second part of this picture where Joan and Antonio Navas actually kiss.

As far as I know, Joan is very much straight. As a model, I assume he is comfortable performing such homoerotic acts like almost kissing.

Chris does mostly underwear ads and editorials that have little to no clothes. That's fine with me, look at his body! His face isn't bad either! ;)

I first noticed Chris when a couple of pictures circulated around the internet about a year ago and let's just say, it was eye popping. Ok, maybe it was eye BULGING, if you know what I mean. Under that thin layer of cotton/spandex blend that's covering his naughty bits, Chris might be hiding a bit of a trouser snake. You be the judge!

Ok ok, I've come to my senses, a Brazilian! Let me be clearly. Jaoa is Brazilian and gay. For a short time in 2009, he was engaged to another male model. They were supposed to marry in Provincetown, MA but that fell through. They broke up (again) and Jaoa is currently dating someone outside of the modeling world. I hope he's happy.
