Soft tailoring is paramount to Damir Doma's aesthetic and that was on display here for its SS19 collection, as were more stand-out pieces such as the bubblegum pink layers, from a fisherman's vest to a loungey tracksuit.

Bucket hats blocked the eyes of the models at Damir Doma creating a mysterious air around the collection of slouchy garments. There were dropped shoulders, elongated sleeves (hands, who needs them?), and an extra long coat with a correspondingly long collar that looked chic and fresh.

Damir Doma's deconstructed designs for his SS18 collection offered plenty of patterns and louche detailing to appease his growing fanbase.

Texture, destroyed knits, and monochromatic looks were three pillars at Damir Doma's FW17 collection, shown in Milan once again. A strong Asian influence also ran throughout the collection, with some looks resembling traditional South East Asian tailoring. Meanwhile, loose straps were seen here, similar to the ones we've seen since London, and complemented the elongated sleeves on a few knits and coats. Chunky knits added texture while ripped and destroyed details added extra character to the dour collection.

Damir Doma is on the list of growing designers who have opted to combine their men's and women's collection into one runway effort. There are multiple reasons this makes sense. For example, there is greater cohesiveness in terms of brand aesthetic and it is also large cost saver. For SS17, the men's collection harped on Doma's signature fluid silhouette which so a plethora of cool summer layers, many with distressed or rugged details, in monochromatic colors.

After making the move out of Paris to Milan, Damir Doma opted to play with proportions and this resulted in elongated sleeves and a wide array of trousers, from carrot pants to wide and flowy ones. There was also gender fluidity, which at this point, seem superfluous to even mention since so many labels are offering gender neutral designs. Nevertheless, the merging of Doma's two lines was perfectly timed for the newest and latest trend in fashion.

Damir Doma's androgynous Spring/Summer 2016 collection was full of stark, monochromatic looks. Wide and fluid layers abounded, from oversized smocks to pants so wide they puddled over the ankle boots the models wore. Most of the looks could easily be worn by either gender, be it a kimono jacket or a body conscious jumpsuit.

Damir Doma's home-y Fall/Winter 2015 collection was rooted in his talents as a tailor and menswear designer. There were no embellishments or obnoxious ploys to get people talking. Instead, there was just good, well tailored clothes, made from natural fabrics that gave the collection a very country feel, with lots of texture, as one would see in the country.

Damir Doma opted to show a video to showcase his SS15, as well as the lookbook below, and the result was an artsy collection that melded his dark and moody aesthetic with precise but easy tailoring; take a painter's smock with a three dimensional neck or a pair of voluminous white shorts that looked like harem pants cut midway through the calf. Collar-less jackets and vests resembling strait jackets offered the subversive elements we've come to expect but they were softened by beautifully cut cream leather jacket or a printed scarf and such went the rest of the collection. Standout pieces include transparent knits that became an overlay to polos or tee-shirts.

A somber palette allowed the subtle details of Damir Doma's FW14 collection to shine through, whether it was a textured coat or a wavy pattern seen on a well tailored, slender suit. Doma's new take on the mixed media jacket was clever, using patent leather for 3/4 of the sleeve, rather than the full sleeve, and the slightly oversized cut fell in line with the silhouette that's dominating this fashion season.
