Alexandre Plokhov's signature black-on-black aesthetic was shaken to its core, to the point where black gave way to color like red, green and sherbert. Still present is Plokhov's gothic meets utilitarianism designs, as well as plenty of outerwear, something seen a lot this season, furthering the hypothesis that we're entering into a season-less era, thanks to a highly mobile population.

Russian designer Alexander Plokhov stays true to his aesthetic of edgy tailoring. A dark and brooding collection was accented by sleek tailoring while a play on proportions was something Plokhov focused on. He preferred a larger shape on the bottom while the top was more streamlined.

For Fall/Winter 2012, Russian designer Alexandre Plokhov opted for a runway show to present his latest collection and it was a tour de force of hard edged fashions heavily accented with leather and fur. The military inspiration from SS12 has left and in its place is a harder, more apocalyptic collection full of sharp tailoring and elegant monochromatic looks.
