APC's latest collection offered very strong sportswear collection that hinged on separates, with bits of patterns to add jazz and break up the minimalist thread that ran throughout. Exceptional were the muted tones of blue, some paired with shearling-trimmed jackets or a Chevron patterned knit.

APC's latest collection harped a bit on tourists and how they dress, from placing their backpacks in front of them for fear of pickpockets to clashing layers. But the story here were the really sharp sportswear offerings from the sophisticated take on tracksuits to a cool anorak.

After last season's worrisome racial comments during the presentation, APC returns strong with a preppy-meets-cool kid aesthetic, seen on cool bombers, a fitted polo and some boxy jackets and coats. Bright and effusive hues lightened the mood seen on the austere tailored looks while denim dressed down the collection and proffered something every man can never have enough of.

Three day ago, the story at A.P.C.'s Fall/Winter 2015 collection was their latest collaboration with Timberland. Previously, the label has teamed up with Kanye West to create two capsule collections. Timberland x A.P.C. would be a reality.

Fast forward to the present and it's been scrapped after the label's founder said racially insensitive, and frankly disgusting, comments regarding the collection, calling Timberland a "ghetto signifier", among other heinous things. This is yet another example of the high street happily accepting the money of minorities without any respect or regard of those whose culture they're appropriating, using said minority's hard earned money to line their own pockets. Shame on A.P.C. and, especially on Mr. Touitou. The rest of this otherwise nice collection is tainted by its founder's ugly words and highlights that race (and religion, at least when it comes to another notorious former couturier at Dior) is still very much a hurdle the fashion industry must overcome.

Strong tailoring was the ideal at APC's Spring/Summer 2015 collection, the designer was insistent that APC and normcore would not be uttered in the same sentence. It was pleasant to see the collection's preppy attire from summer knits tied around the shoulders to fitted short sleeved shirts and a host of relaxed and comfortable looking bottoms.

Sporty French label APC collaborated with rapper Kanye West on a small collection of shirts and other ready to wear pieces and the reception was great so APC brought Kanye West back to help create a full collection for FW14. Included in this are a mix of dapper coats and great separates, while more interesting pieces include a handful of paramilitary inspired looks, including a fur-lined coat.
