RUNWAY: Matthew Miller SS19

Matthew Miller's latest collection seemed to be about survival. This was made apparent by the austere layers, with utilitarian practicality while a partnership with K Swiss yielded 100% recycled garments. Like many of his compatriots at London Fashion Week, Miller's focus on sustainability is much less about being trendy, it seems like a sincere and concerted effort by British designers to be as green as possible. That in of itself is a huge challenge: make green fabrics fashionable and that, at the very least, deserves praise, especially when done right.
