"Truth. It's more important than ever." was plastered on a shirt at Sacai, as well as on the breast of a blouson. It was a political statement from Chitose Abe, the designer at Sacai. So, what is the truth? Was it told at this collection? Her truth was laid bare in the layers upon layers of clothing shown from fringe-heavy outfits to chic layers of mixed-pattern tailored garments. A nomadic and almost post-apocalyptic vibe ran through this collection and unlike other collections that have a similar theme, Abe's latest outing sees a positive outcome of this apocalypse, maybe after all the dust has settled, that's when the truth comes out and stays put.
