RUNWAY: Junya Watanabe FW17

Capsule collections are usually fruitful ventures, they blend the identities of two labels into one to create dynamic looks that reaches a larger audience. Today, Junya Watanabe unveiled a collaboration with The North Face. The resulting collection was decidedly utilitarian, but Watanabe's aesthetic is egalitarian but here, there were cool puffers in bright colors mixed alongside the Japanese designer's loosely tailored creations from drop crotch pants, mix-media jackets and sharp knits.
