RUNWAY: Matthew Miller SS17

Subtle patterns and graphics were dotted throughout Matthew Miller's Spring/Summer 2017 collection: denim with a cloud print pattern and graphic tees with atomic bomb mushroom clouds are just examples. There was an air of revolution in the collection, accentuated by the pins and buttons seen throughout. The collection felt like a reaction to the destruction that's seen in nearly every part of the world now and Miller's proffered a conscious collection of austere designs, mainly in black and dark navy, to reflect back the gloom.
