RUNWAY: Y-3 FW16

Y-3's latest collection was all about utility, with a focus on breaking the mold. What mold? The Y-3 mold. This collection was about starting over, a blank slate, if you will. The tone-on-tone looks blended to create a literal blank slate and what little embellishment there was came in the form of blocks, as if rebuilding the label. It will be interesting what happens when all the blocks have been laid and to see what comes next.
