RUNWAY: Lanvin FW16

"Good luck on your show today, Lucas" was the message from Alber Elbaz left on Instagram for Lanvin's men's director Lucas Ossendrijver. The two have worked together on every men's collection for Lanvin for nearly a decade and this was Ossendriver's first without input from Elbaz. The result was rugged and a bit rebellious: open shirts, long shaggy hair, and flouncy silhouettes thanks to the wide pants the label has proffered for awhile now. Outerwear here was excellent, like the overcoat-cum-kimonos or any of the shearling lined coats.
