RUNWAY: Coach FW16

As Coach's design director Stuart Vevers has to toe the line between high end fashion while still keeping the clothes, shoes and accessories appealing to the label's core customers. He made a good case for it at the label's FW16 show during LCM. There were great coats, oversized and puffy, that could appeal to everyone from those like how Kanye West dresses to those who prefer strong military tailoring. Shoes were chunky and utilitarian while bags were unisex and very sellable. In all, the British designer made a good argument for strong sales next season, which would likely be good news to investors.
