RUNWAY: TopMan SS16

TopMan Design's Spring/Summer 2016 collection took us back to school. Specifically, it was back to gym class, or P.E. as the Brits would call it. Short shorts and an emphasis on athleisure ticked all the boxes that will surely be a continuing trend this season, as more and more people embrace the marriage of comfort and chic. Here, there were slinky pajama-inspired outfits, as well as a multitude of hardened leather jackets, with studs, patches and a bit of ribbing. Strung throughout were athletic inspired designs that utilized technical fabrics to offer a bit of the modern world without forgetting the (sometimes) traumatic school years that made stronger.
