Geek chic was in at Georgina Vendrell's latest runway show. Oil slick hair matched the sport-cum-geek aesthetic that was exemplified in the easy tailoring she offered, take the leather blousons with snap buttons over britches or laser cut mesh tops and jackets with mesh overlay. The pièce de résistance was a pocket protector worn around the neck but rather than protecting one's pocket, it protects one's fragile smartphone.
