RUNWAY: Craig Green SS15

Craig Green might be a new name to some but those who have followed the MAN shows of yester-season knows who Craig Green is. He's been one of the most promising names coming out of London and with his first solo show now under his belt, the result is an overwhelming amount of praise for this new designer who has electrified the cognoscenti at LCM. The collection was like a vision one might see in animation from a Hayao Miyazaki feature full of off-kilter spectacle. The layers pulled away from the body as the youthful models paraded down the runway barefoot, revealing a bit of skin here and there, melding sexuality with innocence. It was in this duality that helped propel the collection to be one of the best, if not the best thus far, out of LCM this season.
