RUNWAY: Katie Eary SS14

Rumors of Katie Eary collaborating with famed and infamous rapper and former designer Kanye West on West's now-defunct fashion line were recently confirmed to be true. It is both shocking revelation and a bit of a delight to learn that Eary, one of our personal favorites during LCM, had worked with such a high-profile individual on a line that, for its all faults, was one of the most polarizing collections out of Paris a few seasons ago. For her own label's SS14 show, Eary  showed vibrant colors that combined animal prints from, cheetah to flamingo, then melded them together to create a hyperactive and lively collection that served as an ode to Africa, all with strong influences from youth culture, as one expects from Eary.
