RUNWAY: Raf Simons FW13

Dior's new couturier showed a severe and subversive collection for his eponymous line. Raf Simons has had quite a year and if this collection is any indication, it seems his outlook as become just a bit more sinister, with a strong emphasis on hard lines. With striking hairstyles to drawstring sneakers, Simons' latest menswear collection took on banality with wider trousers, elongated sleeves and a color palette that was quite shocking in its saturation and tone; even though Simons is widely credited for the bold and colorful trends for the past few seasons. In all, the collection was highly evocative and tittalating.
