RUNWAY: Dior Homme FW13

Kris Van Assche was inspired by the movie Gattaca for the Fall/Winter 2013 collection for Dior Homme. The former right-hand man of Hedi Slimane, who will present his first men's runway collection for Saint Laurent this season, showed an exceptional feat of slim tailoring with some Asian influences. Buckles were the preferred closures that cinched the waist of skinny models, while trousers were fitted and landed slight above ankle-level. The monochromatic looks were well edited and tailored but the finale of outerwear with plastic finishes were our favorites.
