RUNWAY: Christopher Kane FW13

Prints, especially animal ones, were front and center at Christopher Kane's FW13 presentation. Jester White dons Kane's designs that range from an oversized military coat that looked fresh while the prints were real story of the collection. Kane's been in the headline's a lately after abruptly leaving Versus, sibling of the house of Versace, to possibly heading over to Balenciaga and now rumors are swirling that PPR, owner of Balenciaga, Gucci and others, is planning an investment in the English designer. It would be interesting to see the result of a high fashion conglomerate backing Kane and how their influence changes his designs.
