RUNWAY: Ann Demeulemeester FW13

Belgian designer Ann Demeulemeester eased up on the harrowingly darg and edgy fashion she excels at and lightened the mood just a bit, albeit with a strong helping of black on black clothes. A flurry of snow-white layers added a clean and pristine feel to the collection that offered slim cashmere coats, baroque floral patterns on jackets and vests, all fashioned after military garb circa the 1800s.
