RUNWAY: Marc by Marc Jacobs FW12

Marc Jacobs' diffusion line offered much in military-inspired garb. The widely favored trend of military inspired clothes was seen on virtually every runway this Fall/Winter season. It's fitting that one of the most in-the-know and respected designers would be on trend with his latest menswear collection. Strong outerwear pieces like the one on Matt King were seen, while Arthur Gosse's simple color-blocked outfit was very Communist-chic with a strong officer's hat paired with a pair of red trousers. In all, the collection was less adolescent and more grown up, which is nice to see since the brand is now over a decade old.
