RUNWAY: Qasimi FW12

For Qasimi's Fall/Winter 2012, the designer created a more somber and far less political collection. The collection played with fit, proportion, texture and transparency with lots of pretty tartans in red and black, as well as subtle prints to jazz up some of the black-on-black looks. There was a definite military theme to the collection as well, which was very much on trend for the season, as the military theme hit an all-time high with nearly all designers hinting at it. We're always partial to quilted jackets and the ones at Qasimi were quite good.
