RUNWAY: Aloha Rag FW12

The Hawaii-based boutique Aloha Rag offers high-end designers to its clientele that include Givenchy, Tom Ford and The Row. However, the boutique also offers a private line they design and distribute themselves. For Fall/Winter 2012, they tap Dennis Klaffert and Mac Huelster to wear their designs, captured by in-house photographer Takuro Miura and in-house stylist Taichi Kawatani. Their offerings include winter staple fabrics like tweet and cashmere, seen on suits, outerwear, and jumpers. The vibe for Fall/Winter 2012 is easy luxury, with soft shoulders and hints of leather, with the emphasis always on wearability.
