Top Boys of Fall/Winter 2011

With yet another season in Europe over, a new crop of boys have emerged as some of the most promising and intriguing. The following list are the top boys to keep an eye on. Most are just starting out and their portfolios are still slim but we're confident that we'll see a lot of them in the future. (Note: there is no numeric order to the list, it is arranged alphabetically by last name)

Robin Ahrens

Why he's on the list
        • He opened Prada's Fall/Winter 2011 show. Opening Prada is the one the most prestigious honors for any models. Miuccia Prada has launched the careers of many models and now the possibilities for Rob are endless. (photo credit: models.com)

Adrian Cardoso

Why he's on the list
        • After winning a model search in Aruba, Adrian jetted off to Barcelona to do some work then hit the runways of Paris for Spring/Summer 2011. Actually it was one runway: Givenchy. Fast forward to Fall/Winter 2011 and Adrian blew up the runways of Milan and Paris, walking on the elite runways of Dolce&Gabbana, Givenchy, John Galliano, and the debut of Nicola Formichetti's collection for Mugler, sporting two looks and walking to the exclusive sounds of Lady GaGa's new album, Born This Way. Adrian is currently in Paris shooting two editorials for Vogue Hommes Japan with Bruno Staub and Miguel Reveriego, under the direction of Nicola Formichetti. (photo credit: Michael Epps)

Bo Develius

Why he's on the list
        • Bo hails from Sweden and landed the December 2010 cover of Electric Youth (EY!), the raunchy teen-oriented magazine. Then Bo walked Mugler in Paris, where he was a Mugler exclusive! At only 15 years old, Bo has a very bright future ahead of him! (photo credit: models.com)

Rob Evans

Why he's on the list
        • Rob Evans burst into the modeling world when he walked Givenchy's Spring/Summer 2011 show. Since then, he opened Trussardi 1911's Fall/Winter 2011 show, which was their landmark one hundred year anniversary collection in Florence during Pitti Uomo. Then he appeared again for Givenchy a week later. Though Rob's build is larger than most designers sample sizes, his presence draws people to him and it will be very interesting what the future holds for Rob! (photo credit: models.com)

Leebo Freeman

Why he's on the list
        • Leebo opened Mugler's return to the runway, under the direction of Nicola Formichetti and Romain Kremer. His hard edged look was captured by The Ones 2 Watch and his editorial for them instantly drew us to him. Next, he can be seen on the pages of Vogue Hommes Japan, Hercules, Metal and Wonderland. Talk about being one to watch!

Johnny George

Why he's on the list
        • Johnny appeared in Hero's fourth issue as a model to watch and there was a lot of Johnny on the runways for Fall/Winter 2011. He walked venerable brands like Bottega Veneta, Prada, and Burberry Prorsum. Only a year older than Bo, Johnny is another young model who has tons of potential as he matures. Tomas Guarracino

Why he's on the list
        • Tomas made waves when he came down the runway of Dolce&Gabbana alongside Travis Bland. He didn't stop there either, he also walked Hermès, Gucci, and Ermenegildo Zegna. He is currently co-starring in the cK Calvin Klein campaign with Alexander Johansson and supermodel Lara Stone. (photo credit: bananamodels.com)

Daniel McSweeney

Why he's on the list
        • Daniel has only been modeling for a few months and he's already walking such high caliber shows like Hermès and Louis Vuitton. He's currently in Paris shooting for Vogue Hommes Japan. It's all very exciting for this boy who has some intense eyes! (photo credit: sonny vandevelde)

Victor Nylander

Why he's on the list
        • Victor is currently one of the headliners for Versace's Spring/Summer 2011 campaign. Booking such a campaign didn't stop Victor from walking some great runways for Fall/Winter 2011 that included Prada and Dries Van Noten, while opening Dior Homme and closing Kris Van Assche. Mark Westinghouse

Why he's on the list
        • A New York native, Mark sent in his picture to an agency and...well, you can guess what happened. No doubt that this strong cheekbones had something to do with it. Though Mark isn't necessarily a new model like some of the other boys on the list, he's on it because he made a giant splash for Fall/Winter 2011. He walked some of the most important runways: Hermès, Dries Van Noten, and Jean Paul Gaultier. (photo credit: stussy.com)
