RUNWAY: Songzio FW11

Songzio's draped clothes are always interesting. Never as dark and monochromatic as, say, Rick Owens who has a similar aesthetic but primarily uses only three colors: black, grey, and white; Songzio flashes the hottest color for Fall/Winter 2011: red, seen on a puffer jacket, a long overcoat, and a heavy knit turtleneck with drop crotch pants. Other pieces play with proportion like suit jackets hanging to half thigh height, while others played with size, with pants varying in width from tight to extra-wide and outerwear generally fitting about a size larger than normal.
