8) Baptiste Giabiconi amps up the Music Industry with first single and video

Being plucked from obscurity after being a factory worker in Normandy to become one of France's most recognized male models (if not the most recognized) opens many doors. What opens even more doors? Having Karl Lagerfeld, one of the last classically trained couturiers alive, call you his Muse. In Baptiste's interview with Pony Ryder, he states that he's always had an affinity to music and he's taken his exposure to explore that passion.

The result is "Showtime", the first single off his yet-untitled album. The music video was released a few weeks ago and when it did, the fashion blogs were all buzzing about it. The reaction from those who saw it ranged from good to downright mean. Most, however, fell in the middle. The video isn't without its issues but we think the song is catchy and we still can't get over how Baptiste says "What's wrong with you, man?" in his angry French accent. Watch the video below!
