Andrej Pejic

A few weeks ago, I mentioned that Johannes Niermann was the breakout star of the Spring/Summer 2011 Menswear shows. However, Andrej Pejic probably caused the most buzz.

At only 15, this Australian beauty stuns with his androgynous features and caused a lot of talk during fashion week. He appeared on such venerable runways such as John Galliano, Raf Simons and Jean Paul Gaultier, often inciting the reaction from photographers and editors alike, "Is John/Raf/Jean Paul showing womenswear during the men's shows?" The answer was "No."

Since the shows, he was photographed by Mert + Marcus for Vogue Paris' September 2010 issue, styled by Editor-In-Chief & one of my personal style icons, Carine Roitfeld. Look out for the editorial tomorrow! We should also be looking out for Andrej in more editorials, because his features are really quite extraordinary.
