RUNWAY: Josep Abril SS15

Spanish designer Josep Abril looked to Japan for inspiration for his SS15 collection. Models had short ponytails on the tops of their heads, like that of sumo wrestlers, while the designer proffered loose tailoring that moved elegantly and effortlessly. The strikingly pared back collection saw very muted tones in the grey-scale and demure patterns to create a somber collection, especially when contrasted with the effusive tones of other shows during 080 Barcelona.
