RUNWAY: Linder SS17

On the first day of NYFW:M, generally reserved for up and coming labels to present their collections, Linder debuts their first ever runway show. The result was a gender bending collection that upended the codes of dress that's been in place for men for many a generation. There were wrap dresses, slinky layers, and curve-enhancing silhouettes. Also seen were riveted denim, the effect of which could be interpreted one of two ways: as armor or as the male version of heavily embellished (and weighty) dresses; one of which is what the designers intended.
