RUNWAY: Ximon Lee SS17

Every season, GQ China sponsors a designer to showcase their collection at LCM and for SS17, the Conde Nast-owned magazine tapped Ximon Lee. The resulting collection was experimental in its shapes, fabrics and overall design. The fluidity in the layers echoed the futuristic lean of the collection while the technical fabrics reinforced it. Take the textured and oversized trench or the plasticized slickers that contrasted the loose straps throughout, as if the wearer haphazardly just escaped from a strait jacket and was looking for freedom.
