RUNWAY: Prada SS17

Miuccia Prada's latest menswear collection was about a man on an adventure. In lieu of a tailoring-centric collection, the Spring/Summer 2017 show was all about utility and active-cum-sportswear. While spring and summer may see few coats and jackets for those in more tropical areas, that's not where the Prada man is headed next season. He's going to climb Mount Everest, he's going to travail to Antarctica and then head over to Patagonia. What Prada offered these active men was a litany of windbreakers and parkas, as well as super chic base layers, in technical fabrications, to stay warm and dry atop the apex, where Prada's collections usually sit every season.
