RUNWAY: Moncler Gamme Bleu SS17

Thom Browne's latest collection for Moncler Gamme Bleu did not proffer a sports theme, miracles do happen! Instead of the requisite sport reference, Browne looked to camping for inspiration for Gamme Bleu's SS17 collection. The result was centered on utility, with a plethora of pockets on jackets to a melange of plaid on nearly every layer. There were, of course, snazzy coats to appease the Moncler aficionado and the theme this season is a much needed respite from the cycle of sport that's been offered by Browne and Moncler for the past umpteenth seasons. It was a breath of fresh air, like one may get after a weekend in the forest.
