RUNWAY: Jil Sander SS17

Under the new directorship of Rudolfo Paglialunga, Jil Sander's latest collection was one that harked on the founding designer's desire for sleek, utilitarian creations with a look towards the future so the steely greys, blues and greens were not only pleasing to the eye but had a mechanical and futuristic feel to them. The clothes were mostly geometric in shape, with sharp corners and boxy silhouettes. Meanwhile the leather accessories were very good, with some sharp carry alls and satchels to keep loyal fans coming back.
