RUNWAY: MSGM SS16

Japanese fashion is one of the most dynamic in the world. There are so many divergent styles under the world of Japanese fashion and MSGM attempts to reimagine it for SS16. Thankfully, this was no Lolita collection. Instead, Massimo Giornetti looked to martial arts for inspiration, Judo, to be exact. So, there were judo pants, rope belts and the like throughout the collection, as well as ribbed knits, and a calvacade of stripes. There were also dressier options, like a double breasted suit with a judo pant but the collection's sportier aspects ruled supreme, all in a richly saturated natural hues, like one might see at sunset.
